OH MY GOD GUYS!
Westboro Baptist Church has edited my artwork and posted it to Twitter.
So earlier this year a children’s book I worked on about acceptance in couples came out, Square Zair Pair. The author, who is a gay man, was planning a reading in the Castro district when Westboro started sending him hateful messages and stated their plans to protest the book reading!
This, however, is on a whole different level. I laughed so hard I started crying, because these guys are SO threatened by genderless purple creatures that they needed to use them to spread hate.
WELL, I’ll do the opposite and spread word of this adorable book, instead :)
