its disgusting that hospitals charge for saving peoples lives.
Yes, yes it is.
I walked away from a $21,000 ER bill after tweaking my chest muscles while I was employed. That was after my “insurance” company cancelled $7,000 of the bill. Somehow, the hospital and insurance companies thought they could continue bilking me because I was a part-time shit working for a shit company.
And yet, people in meatspace here (North Carolina, for those wondering) wonder why I try to see the doctor as little as possible. I’ve been unemfuckingployed for 7 goddamn years now.
