Palaeontologists don’t decide what dinosaurs look like, they merely examine the evidence to determine what it tells us. Tyrannosaurus has been suspected of having lips for a long time, and this being confirmed doesn’t radically change its appearance. Tyrannosaurus almost certainly had feathers, as well.
