- Nothing with alliums (i.e., onions, garlic, leeks, scallions) should be ingested by your pet (can lead to toxic anemia).
- The herb Sage can cause stomach upset and central nervous system depression.
- Cheese, sour cream, butter, onions, and gravies are no-no’s in a pet’s diet.
- Grapes and raisins will cause kidney failure.
- Cranberries are fine, but watch the sugar content in cranberry sauces.
- Sweeteners containing Xylitol are poisonous to animals, and potentially deadly to dogs.
- Plain green beans are okay, but watch out with green bean casserole (because of other ingredients).
Let your puppies have noms, but let them nom responsibly.
