How to cook a Tombstone pizza.
Making pizza- good pizza, even!- isn’t really that hard. It also fills your home with the scent of alcohol from all those little yeasties, giving it a certain amount of prestige that says, “I made this.”
Don’t want to make the dough? Okay. There’s some pizza dough in many good grocery stores. If there isn’t, call up your favorite mom & pop pizza joint and ask if you can buy the dough from them! Keep the dough in the freezer until you want to make a pizza. Just… thaw the dough in the fridge and not on the counter, but I can see you were gonna do that anyway. No, I haven’t been watching a lot of Good Eats lately, why do you ask? It’s not like I would ever want to associate myself with tasty food and… ᵒᵏᵃʸ ʸᵒᵘ ᵍᵒᵗ ᵐᵉ⋅
Oh, and cooked pizza also freezes really well, too. Just reheat it in an oven and there you go, homemade frozen pizza! (I never figured out how to reheat it on the stovetop- but if you can, more power to you. At least you’re not sticking your amazing pizza in the microwave to die a sad, lonely, and possibly painful death.)
Though to be fair, it does tell you how to enjoy a Tombstone® pizza, not a good pizza. 😜
